SACC is a friendly and sociable choir, attracting talented singers from all walks of life, aspiring to professional standards and providing a challenging and stimulating musical environment.   We will always consider new singers – commitment, enthusiasm and a sense of humour are just as important as a good singing voice, solid sight-reading skills and the ability to learn new repertoire quickly.

The Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings in term-time in Fleetville, St Albans.  There are 4- 6 concerts in each season, of which at least one is in St Albans Cathedral.  Professional soloists and orchestras are used as required.  There are opportunities to sing in larger-scale performances through our links with the St Cecilia Festival Society (biennial concert) and to visit St Albans German twin-town, Worms (Rheinland-Palatinate).

To find out more, contact the Secretary – email secretary@stalbanschamberchoir.org.uk – and  arrange to come along to one of our Tuesday rehearsals and try us out.

An annual subscription is payable; there are a limited number of reduced-rate places are available to full-time students under the age of 25.
